Abstract:
To simplify and speed up analysis and design of chemical systems the complexity of modeling chemical processes has to be decreased.
This article presents improvements to the object model of the modeling language VeDa developed for this task. It focuses on three topics:
alternative representation of metamodels in two-leveled object systems; concurrent use of prototyp-based and class-based comcepts to increase the flexibility while retaining classifyability; and implementation problems emerging due to the dynamic schema.
