XML to OWL Converter

Abstract:
XML2OWL is an ANTLR-based program written in C++ for automatic conversion of an Extensible Markup Language (XML) file to a Web Ontology Language (OWL) file. The mapping rules are defined in a text file with a .rules extension. The the OWL file created during the conversion process contains only instance data (i.e., OWL individuals and their properties); the converter presumes the existence of an OWL ontology that specifies the classes and properties instantiated in the OWL file.
