Research topics

Research at AVT is centred on relevant problems arising from global change. Scientific challenges in the development of sustainable feedstock within the overall material value chain from resource to the tailored product are the focus of interest. The required processing fundamentals of material conversion are therefore developed in an integrated product- and process design, which involves an evolution of a systematic design strategy that links both, experimental and simulative methods. In the following, the distinct domains within this design strategy are described in more detail.
