Material conversion

The conversion of raw materials to product is the centre of this research area. Mainly the basic change of the raw material from fossil to sustainable resources is viewed, which requires also a change in mind for industry and society. Therefore, new catalyst will be developed to conserve the functionality of biomass as well as new reaction pathways for novel products have to be evaluated.

Current research focus in the thematic area: Material conversion

Process- and Product Design
Environmental engineering, water and energy technologies
Extraction
Ethics for Energy Technologies (HumTec-EET)
