And the AVT Cooperation Award goes to…Copyright: AVT
At this year's AVT General Assembly, the "AVT Cooperation Award" was presented for the first time. Past or future research cooperations between at least two AVT chairs were supposed to be presented in order to encouraged imitation. A total of four teams presented their concepts for "Smart Water Economy", "Flexible Electrochemical Processes", "Biosurfactant Production" and "CO2 fixation in baking powder" in short pitches.
The critical jury, consisting of the AVT professorship, finally selected the team of Hanna Roth (CVT), Michael Alders (CVT), Robert Keller (CVT) and Daniel Roth (FVT) as winners with the Direct air capture (DAC) project "AVT goes baking powder". We congratulate and look forward to new cooperations next year.
Looking for motivated students
The winning team is looking for interested students who want to work on the project 'AVT goes Backpulver' in the context of a project thesis. The project starts with the draft of the process in form of a flow sheet and then studied experimentally. An event for more informations takes place on the 21.10.19 at 5 p.m. in room A-202. We welcome motivated students who want to carry out the project together with us.
