Former AVT.BioVT spin-off m2p-labs GmbH acquired by Beckman Coulter Life Sciences

The former spin-off company of RWTH Aachen University AVT.BioVT, m2p-labs GmbH from Baesweiler, was sold to the internationally operating American company Beckmann Coulter Life Sciences on 12.11.2020. m2p-labs GmbH was founded 15 years ago and has since specialised in microbioreactor and automated systems for screening and bioprocess applications. The so-called BioLector, RoboLector and BioLector Pro technologies and the FlowerPlate, which were invented and developed at the Chair of Bioprocess Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, will thus become even more widely used in biotechnological laboratories worldwide. By acquiring m2p-labs GmbH, Beckman Coulter Life Sciences hopes to further advance the development of high-throughput bioprocess technology.
