Team of RWTH students take part in this year's final round of the iGEM competition

 

The international Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) competition is an international competition for students in the field of Synthetic Biology, in which hundreds of teams from all over the world participate. iGEM is the heart of the Synthetic Biology Community. For several years Aachen has provided annually a team, which is supervised by Prof. Wiechert (AVT), among others.

This year's iGEM team from Aachen, consisting of biotechnologists, computer scientists and engineers will now, for the first time, be in the final of the competition.Seven finalists left, two of them in the category "overgraduate"  are left from over 250 international teams.
