Pasta party for the Lousberg Runners
There are only a few hours left on the evening of July 5th until the sporting event in Aachen, where horses are rarely involved: the legendary Lousberglauf with its 5555m, ups and downs. 24 hours before the start, the athletes can store up their energy at the AVT pasta party. The running shirts of one of the largest teams of this run will also be handed out, as well as the start numbers. Runners and the Belvedere observation tower are shown on the self-designed shirt, as well as this year's sponsors Evonik (https://corporate.evonik.com/en), VIVTA e.V. (https://www.vivta.de/) and the new AVT spin-off BioThrust (https://biothrust.de/). BioThrust was responsible for hosting the pasta party this year. "Pasta and rice with a dry weight of 26kg were processed by our team," said Patrick Bongartz, CEO of BioThrust. Omnivore, vegetarian, and vegan dishes were offered. Together with the AVT event team, a convivial evening was ensured, which increases motivation for the run. Christian Kneppeck, Production Manager at BioThrust and responsible for the "pasta organization": "I'm really proud of what our team has already achieved before the run! The bowls for the pasta are full to the brim, even though they are so big!”. The photo gallery gives a good insight into the event.
