Master student Yak Ortmanns receives the NAMUR AWARD

For his master's thesis entitled "Application of reinforcement learning for process control in an industrial environment", RWTH student Yak Ortmanns has received the annual prize for an excellent thesis awarded by NAMUR.
The master's thesis was supervised by Prof. Alexander Mitsos through Systems Process Engineering.
Mr. Ortmanns had the opportunity to present the results of his thesis to the audience at the NAMUR main meeting during the award ceremony.
NAMUR is an international association of users in the field of automation technology and digitalization of the process industry (https://www.namur.net/), which has existed for more than 65 years.
