Research Topics of the AVT
Research at AVT is centered on relevant problems arising from global change. Scientific challenges in the development of sustainable feedstock within the overall material value chain from resource to the tailored product are the focus of interest. The required processing fundamentals of material conversion are therefore developed in an integrated product- and process design. This involves an evolution of a systematic design strategy, which links experimental and simulative methods. The distinct domains within this design strategy are described in more detail on the following pages for each of the AVT Chairs.
