University of Strathclyde, Scotland
Each year, two students get the opportunity to study at the Department of Chemical & Process Engineering of the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow for six months as part of the ERASMUS exchange program, which is funded by the European Union. This exchange program is particularly well suited for students at the Bachelor’s or Master’s level in one of the following subjects:
- Mechanical Engineering with specialization in process engineering
- Computational Engineering Science
- Industrial Engineering with specialization in process engineering
- Environmental Process Engineering
Die University of Strathclyde was founded in 1796, and it was the first technical university in Great Britain. The Department of Chemical & Process Engineering is one of the largest in the country and offers various opportunities for discovering different areas of process engineering. The campus lies in the heart of Glasgow, the largest city of Scotland, which is also known for its friendly atmosphere and rich cultural scene.
The deadlines for applying for this program are

31th of January for applications for the following winter and summer semester or exclusively for either the following winter semester or the summer semester of the next year
- 15th of April for applications for remaining spots for the following summer semester
