In the field of functional micro-fibers, the design of the spin-head is very important and the focus in this project. To be more precise, the architecture of a spinning-nozzle is crucial for the quality of the obtained fibers. The project aims to improve the spin-nozzle with the support of 3D-printing technologies. Your task is the design of new 3D nozzle drafts, and finally apply these 3D-printed nozzles to produce polyelectrolyte micro-fibers.

Students should bring:
• Knowledge in 3D-CAD-design
• High motivation to work independently
