The project thesis is to design and simulate two different CO2 conversion processes using a process flowsheeting software. In particular, the process is allowed to take impure CO2 feedstock, which is often available at adsorption- or membrane-based CO2 capture plants. Your task is to examine how the impure CO2 feedstock affects the overall production cost.

What we expect from you:

  • You got a good grade from the course "Prozessentwicklung in der Verfahrenstechnik".
  • It would be nice if you have experience with Aspen Plus or gPROMS.
  • You should be able to communicate in English.
