IPC is a process whereby fibers are formed through interactions at the interface of oppositely charged polymers. IPC polyelectrolyte fibers have been investigated for various applications such as drug delivery, bio-sensing, flexible electronics and tissue engineering. In this work, we aim at figuring out new combinations of polyelectrolyte to fabricate stable and functional IPC fibers. If you want to learn more about how to build and optimize a research system with varying parameters, this is work for you. The potential application will be in electronics.

The work includes:
• Fabrication of hollow fibers in a printed nozzle
• Controllable regulation of the fiber morphology
• Membrane characterization and application
