ADELE - German Australian Joint Laboratory for ADvanced ELEctrochemical Processes

"ADELE" earmarks the establishment of a joint research presence for advanced electrolysis processes by German and Australian partners. The Chair of Chemical Process Engineering (CVT) at RWTH Aachen University will cooperate with the Melbourne Energy Institute (MEI) based at Melbourne University to work on questions concerning electrochemical processes for the production and use of green hydrogen.

Under the agreement, infrastructure resources at Melbourne will be used to establish the laboratory and joint research projects will be applied for and carried out by the research partners. Currently the BMBF (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung) has funded the program until 2024. It is anticipated that the combination of active research, the establishment of an interest network and the focus on sustainable implementation will ensure that the research presence "ADELE" is established in the long term.

We are very interested in exchanging ideas and knowledge on the topic of advanced electrochemical processes. For more informationen please contact or .
